SHATTERED BLUE by Lauren Bird Horowitz
Rating: 4.5/5
Shattered Blue is a well written and fast-paced urban fantasy book about a human girl named Noa, and a boy called Callum, who happens to be Fae. A family tragedy pushes them together, but Callum’s hunger for survival in the human world, for Light, tears them apart. Will she sacrifice all that she loves to save him?
This book kept me enthralled until the last word, and made me wish for more. Lauren Bird Horowitz knows how to weave a story and bring her characters to life, capturing the reader with humorous moments along with heartfelt and agonising ones. While there were a few points that made me stop and think, this book definitely blew my expectations out of the water. For her debut novel, she certainly has me hooked! Bring on the sequel!
