Little Birdy Book Blog: What inspired you to start writing?
Sam Destiny: Everyone had their own book boyfriends... I wanted my share - and that's how the twins came to life. I've been writing since long before that though because writing always gave me an escape.
LBBB: How long did it take for you to write your first book?
SD: I started the story before I ever decided to become serious. Then it took me less than a month for the first version. In total it was September when I started and December when I released.
LBBB: How do you come up with ideas for your stories?
SD: That's a tough one... They are just there... And then, at some point, the characters take over.
LBBB: What is your writing routine like? Do you have a set schedule or are you flexible?
SD: Flexible. I write whenever I can.
LBBB: What inspires you to write?
SD: My best friend. She is probably my biggest fan and always is the model for my females.
LBBB: Are any of your stories written from personal experience, or any character traits that mirror yours?
SD: Well... No. Maybe. It's a tough one. I guess it's hard admitting any traits are yours.
LBBB: When in a slump, what do you do? If you read or listen to music, what are your go-to books or music?
SD: I usually switch stories and that seriously helps. If I read, I don't have certain books... Just whatever strikes my mood.
LBBB: How do you respond to negative feedback/comments with your work?
SD: I didn't get much of that yet (thankfully). I guess it all depends on what is being criticized. So far only the choice of my ending was a problem - and that's personal preference really, so it wasn't that complicated to deal with! ;-)
LBBB: What is your writing space like? Do you work anywhere or do you have a special place just for your writing? Messy or clean?
SD: I write everywhere, but if I'd have a desk, it would be messy. A lot.
LBBB: Do you have a favorite author? Series?
SD: J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood; Nicholas Sparks, Elizabeth Reyes' Fifth Street Series
LBBB: Any fur-babies?
SD: My Dog, Flocke (translates to Flake) and my cat, Dutchess.

Author Bio:
Once upon a time there was a young girl with her head full of dreams and her heart full of stories. Her parents, though not a unit, always supported her and told her more stories, encouraging her to become what she wanted to be. The problem was, young Sam didn't know what she wanted to be, so after getting her A-levels she started studying Computer Science and Media. After not even one year she realized it wasn't what her heart wanted, and so she stopped, staying home and trying to find her purpose in life. Through some detours she landed an internship and eventually an apprenticeship in a company that sells cell phones. Not a dreamy career, but hey. Today she's doing an accounting job from nine-to-five, which mainly consists of zdaydreaming and scribbling notes wherever she can.
All through that time little Sam never once lost the stories in her heart, writing a few little of them here and there, writing for and with her best friend, who always told her to take that last step. Only when a certain twin-couple entered her mind, bothering her with ideas and talking to her nonstop did she start to write down their story - getting as far as thinking she could finish it. Through the help of some author friends, and the encouragement of earlier mentioned best friend, little Sam, now not so little anymore and in her twenty-seventh year, decided to try her luck as an Indie author. She finished the story of the first twin, Jaden, and realized she couldn't ever stop. So, it is only after five that the real Sam comes out. The one that hungers for love, romance, some blood, a good story, and, at the end of the day, a nice hot cup of Chai Tea Latte.
And if the boys are still talking to her, she'll write happily ever after.
